There is NOT a skydiving dropzone in GILMER, LONGVIEW, TYLER, HENDERSON, OR NACOGDOCHES Texas.

We are the ONLY skydiving facility in East Texas.

While searching on the internet you will come across many options for skydiving. Many of these options are actually a ticket agency that appears to be in a town close to you and they have many names. If you purchase a skydiving certificate from this ticket agency, you may get sent to a place that is two to four hours away to redeem it when another dropzone may be closer to you. The prices seem comparable but a real dropzone will not charge you a packing fee, tandem class fee or a handling fee. A real dropzone will only ask you for a $50 deposit to make an appointment and will not require you to pay for everything over the phone unless you are buying a gift certificate for someone. Please feel free to ask for a physical address and visit a skydiving facility to make sure it exists. Please do some research before you buy something over the phone or internet.

Skydive East Texas is a full service skydiving center located in East Texas at the Gladewater Municipal Airport. Our highly trained professional instructors will provide you with step-by-step personal instruction whether it is your first skydive (Tandem) or you would like to learn to skydive (Tandem Progression).
Safety and personal, friendly attention to you and your skydiving experience is our greatest priority. We are a little over an hour from Shreveport, Louisiana and just two hours from Dallas in the Tyler - Longview area. We have GIFT CERTIFICATES available that can be purchased over the phone and

Directions

From Shreveport, LA take I-20 toward Dallas to Exit 583 which is the Kilgore - Gladewater Hwy 135 Exit. Take a Right off of that exit onto Hwy 135. Follow Hwy 135 until it dead ends into Hwy 271. The Airport is located right across the street. Take a Right on 271 and then a Left into the Gladewater Municipal Airport. There is a brick sign marking the airport. We are the second hangar on the right.

From Dallas and Canton take I-20 toward Shreveport, LA to Hwy 271. Take a Left off of that exit onto Hwy 271 going towards Gladewater. We are located on the Gladewater Municipal Airport which will be on your left after passing Hwy 135. There is a brick sign marking the airport. We are the second hangar on the right.

Park around back, come on in and get READY TO SKYDIVE!!!!
