This is one of our most treasured museums in Kilgore.   Located at Kilgore College, It shows you what life was like in East Texas during the Oil Boom of the 1930's.  The main attraction is the tour of a small town in East Texas where you actually walk on sidewalks and look into different businesses along the way.  It is a full scale recreation, that takes you through the streets of downtown 1930.   The tour finishes with a short film at the theater where you can relax and enjoy a "pop."  It is fun for the whole family.  See their website for more details.
